About Me

I started out as a young child with a mother that had a passion for genealogy research {now commonly known as family history} .

The art of collecting for my mother began at the knee of her mother and grandmothers. She was taught a deep appreciate for "things that are old." She felt a connection to her ancestors when she collected old photographs, newspaper clippings, old documents, and family heirlooms. It is important to my family, me being the forth generation, to preserve and archive these family heirlooms properly, so that future generations will be able to enjoy them!

My mother introduced me to the wonderful world of scrapbooking. The first scrapbook she ever put together was my school years, from kindergarten through my senior year in high school. We have since learned to work together, coming up with new page layout ideas, and encouraging each other by sharing new ideas and techniques. We realized that we were doing more than just storing photos and heirlooms. We were learning together how to creatively display and enjoy our family treasures.

I am now carrying my love and appreciation for scrapbooking and crafts on to the next generation, my two daughters. It seems like all our family has an interest, or should I say a passion for scrapbooking.

This interest is what lead me to opening a scrapbooking, craft, and candle store in the small town where I live. I've met some wonderful people that have hired me to design scrapbooks for their "special occasions such as, weddings, vacations, or holidays. I've taught classes and continue to learn new techniques that I can share with my customers.

My idea of a small town country store has now grown into more - because my customers wanted more. It has developed into me carrying crafts and candles now - which has made my customers happy! I am very pleased to announce that my store has an even larger selection of candles, home decor, oils, sprays, potporri's, burner's, and so much more...

I am also pleased that I can offer an online store that is full of great products for you and your family to enjoy for many years. Our products could even start some great traditions in your home.

Remember, our sense of smell is the strongest sense we have. My childhood memories are full of great scents. I remember the way I felt when I smelled fresh apple and pumpkin pie baking or fresh bread right from the oven cooling on the country, sugar cookies baking or the smell of fresh picked liliacs in the spring! The flowers were like a fresh perfume that were carried all over our old victorian home!
